The Guild was formed in May 2001 to give crafters in the counties  of Hereford, Worcester & Gloucester a market

place to exhibit and sell their hand-made crafts which must be designed and made by themselves.

NO BOUGHT IN GOODS ARE ALLOWED

As the name suggests, we try to find venues in the three separate counties of Hereford, Worcester and Gloucester, but with very few members in Herefordshire, venues at the moment are restricted to the other two counties. Venues are scattered far and wide ranging from Pershore in the north to Gloucester in the south.

We draw Members mainly from the three counties but we are not averse to accepting crafters from adjoining counties, bearing in mind that Members from outside the original three counties will have further to travel.

We aim to have 10 fairs in a year with a break in January & February, trying to spread the venues over the three counties.

In order to maintain a high standard of workmanship, guests are invited to a venue at a cost of £25 for one table (after submitting an Application form and photographs of their craft). Their work will be assesed by the other Members and if acceptable - may be invited to join the Guild.

Members are expected to attend a minimum of four fairs in any one year. Our Annual General Meeting is held in April

Sometimes we receive invitations to other events and sometimes our venue is picked to coincide with another event e.g. the Plum Fayre in Pershore in August. A few of our fairs take place on a Bank Holiday Monday.

The membership is limited to 30 but it fluctuates from year to year.

Currently the membership fee is £14 per year which runs from 1st January until 31st December.

Table fees are then £13 for one table

£18 for one and a half tables

£22 for two tables, which is the maximum.

Visitors and guests are £25 at most fairs but cost more at the expensive venues.

We currently have a few places available but guests will only be invited after scrutiny of an Application Form and photographs.
